Our Services
Situated in St Just, in the South West of Cornwall, we are spread out over three sites, consisting of a fabrication/bodyshop, a large classic car showroom and our main workshop which holds ten ramps including our MOT Testing Station. Our team of staff is a blend of youth and experience, many of which have been employed here since leaving school as apprentices.
Our workshop here in St Just is open for regular work, including MOT Tests, servicing, plus wearing items such as brakes, tyres and diagnostics. We also offer a nationwide delivery service including vehicle recovery.
Over the last twenty five years we have restored various classic cars that have been sold locally as well as across Europe. Many of our classic cars are advertised in an un-restored state, so that customers have the option to choose what preferences they would like the car to have. This includes the colour, the interior, along with any potential engine or gearbox upgrades. We can also restore customers own classic cars for them.
Our restoration work is carried out to concourse standards, where our team take great pride in attention to detail making sure the customer is happy with their vehicle.
James Harvey, one of our top mechanics and vehicle restorers, has been working with us for over ten years now and has a vast knowledge in classic car restoration and maintenance, as well as fabrication work.
Likewise is experienced engineer Bob Bins, who carries out all of our full engine rebuilds in-house, as well as any fine tuning and diagnostic work on both vintage and modern vehicles.
Our painter Mick Guest has been in the trade for fourty-plus years so has plenty of experience working on classic cars, with our other senior staff member Terry Williams carrying out everything from full engine rebuilds and restoration work, to MOT tests and in-depth diagnostics. Lorraine, Richie, Charlie, David and James make up the rest of the Carn Bosavern team.
