This 1956 Triumph TR3 was purchased by a customer from California. They brought it back over to this country and have asked us to restore it for them to their own specifications. The car is all complete and unsurprisingly the metalwork is in superb condition since the car is from a dry state.
The car has been stripped to a bare shell and chassis, with the chassis blasted, painted and fully rebuilt with all new steering/braking/suspension components. The bodyshell had the necessary fabrication works carried out, before a full respray in metallic Land Rover Carpathian Grey. The panels were fitted back to the body, which was then fitted on to the chassis.
New braking, fuel, water and electrical systems have been fitted including upgraded electric cooling fan, uprated starter motor, as well as new interior carpets, seats, trim and rebuilt original gauges. After fitting the new chrome wire wheels and white wall tyres, we are currently test driving and working through the final list of jobs.
If you are interested in having a similar vehicle restored to either factory or your own specifications, please contact us.
