This 1958 MGA Roadster is a completed sold project that underwent a full nut-and-bolt restoration for a customer.
The body was removed from the chassis, the body treated with Jenolite (acid rust eater), then primed and painted in Old English White. The chassis was blasted, zinc primed and painted in chassis black, with all new suspension and brakes fitted. The car had a 1622cc MGA engine completely rebuilt and fitted. Because the car went to the south of France, the customer took precautions by installing an uprated aluminium radiator, as well as a Revotec Electric Fan and Evans Waterless Coolant. The car had all new burgundy leather seats and wool carpet fitted, with matching mohair weather gear.
As with all our nut and bolt restorations, all new fuel/water/electric systems were installed and the car was tested locally before delivery to the customer.
