This 1958 MGA Roadster is currently undergoing a full nut and bolt restoration for a customer to their own specifications. This is a sold project and is not available to be purchased.
The car was stripped to a bare shell, taken back to bare metal, primed and fully resprayed in Old English White. The original chassis was sand blasted, primed and painted, then fully rebuilt with new MGB brake discs/pads/calipers, Spax shock absorbers, polybushes, coil springs, copper brake pipes, plus all new nuts and bolts.
An 1800cc engine has been fully rebuilt in house and fitted with a new Type 9 Ford 5-speed gearbox. Various external chrome work was fitted, as well as engine bay components including an aluminium radiator, electric Revotec fan and a CSI Electronic ignition system. The interior is all new, with upgraded leather seats and wool carpets.
We are now working towards getting the car ready for its maiden voyage.
