This 1959 Triumph TR3A is currently undergoing a full nut and bolt restoration for a customer to their own specifications. This is a sold project and is not available to be purchased.
We have stripped the vehicle down to a bare shell and chassis, then had the chassis blasted, primed, painted and rebuilt with all new suspension, braking and steering components. At this stage the customer requested various upgrades such as uprated coil springs, Koni shock absorbers, a front anti-roll-bar and a TR7 steering rack conversion.
The original engine was stripped to a bare block, before a full engine rebuild was carried out. During the rebuild, the engine has had upgraded 89mm pistons and liners, as well as a Kent Cams hi-torque camshaft with vernier timing gear, plus an unleaded fuel cylinder head conversion. Various other new components were also installed, including upgraded water pump, oil pump, bearings etc.
