This 1972 MGB Roadster is an original home market vehicle that had a full nut and bolt restoration to a customers specification.
The front and rear axles were stripped, painted and re-built with all new suspension and braking components. Upgrades such as a polybush suspension, Spax shock absorbers and EBC brake discs/pads were installed. These were fitted to the bodyshell, which had a bare metal respray in Old English White.
The 1800cc engine was fully rebuilt in-house with new pistons, oil pump, timing chain and tensioners etc. This was fitted on new mounts and the engine bay detailed with new parts, including upgrades such as an aluminium radiator, electronic ignition system and a Revotec cooling fan.
We carried out substantial labour works to get the car starting and driving on the ramp, before embarking on the cars maiden voyage. After over 100 miles of local test driving, the car was delivered to the customer in North Yorkshire.
